Monday, August 14, 2023 — Tuesday, August 15th/2023/ Ottawa, ON – A team of volunteers from the OCH Foundation, Khalsa Aid Ottawa, and Active Youth Ottawa will work together to distribute over 1,300 backpacks, filled with school supplies for children and youth living in OCH Communities.
This event is part of the OCH Foundation’s Pack-a-Sack initiative which addresses an important need by purchasing backpacks and supplies for children and youth living in OCH neighborhoods so they can return to school equipped and ready to learn.
This program is possible thanks to our community partners and sponsors; The Caring and Sharing Exchange, Khalsa Aid Ottawa, Taggart Foundation, Hydro Ottawa, Ottawa Community Housing Corporation, Tasico Hospitality, Active Youth Ottawa, Giant Tiger, Ottawa Polic Service, St Laurent Centre, Régimbal Group, the Coalition of Community Houses, Moxies Ottawa and Bridghead.

Optimal time for interviews and photos will be 9:30am & 11:00am when truck departs
