No, you can be enrolled in any post-secondary program (full-time or part-time) as long as it is at an accredited institution in Canada and linked to a diploma, degree, or certification.
Proof of Enrollment is a document from the post-secondary institution that outlines the program you are currently enrolled in. This can be obtained from the registrar’s office.
Yes, if you meet all other eligibility requirements.
Applications for the 2026 bursary will open on April 1. Once open, you can apply online through the link on the program page. The deadline for applications is May 31.
Financial need means that your available funds don’t fully cover the cost of your studies and related expenses. When you apply, you’ll provide information that helps the Foundation understand your financial situation. Specific documentation or details may be requested.

Yes, we encourage applications from past recipients. You are welcome to apply again as long as you are still enrolled in a post-secondary institution and continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
Yes, multiple people from the same address or household can apply with individual applications as long as they meet all the eligibility requirements. There are no household caps on the bursary.
OSAP contributions can be counted as “Any Additional Financial Income”.
Our team begins reviewing applications after the closing date of the deadline. We look at eligibility, quality of the application, demonstrated financial need, and completeness of the information provided. Decisions are made after all applications have been reviewed.
Our team will notify applicants of decisions by August. You’ll be informed whether you were selected and what the next steps are.
You are welcome to apply again the next time applications open, as long as you continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
Yes. The OCH Foundation issues a T4A slip for the Inspired by Learning Bursary. This means the bursary may be considered taxable income and should be reported when you file your taxes.
