CORPORATE GIVING

Strong communities are built when businesses step forward with purpose. At the OCH Foundation, corporate partners help create opportunities for families across Ottawa by investing in programs, events, and initiatives that remove barriers and open doors. There are many ways for your team to get involved throughout the year, and every dollar directly supports free programs that create lasting positive change for the 33,000 tenants living in Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) communities. This includes 12,000 children and youth across 155 OCH communities throughout Ottawa.

Golf Tournament

Each September, our Annual Charity Golf Tournament brings together OCH vendors, community partners, and supporters. Our largest fundraiser of the year, this event welcomes 250+ golfers for a double shotgun tournament and valuable networking opportunities. 

Annual Giving Campaign

Support our six-week campaign focused on community generosity while celebrating your business. Held each November–December, this campaign highlights the impact of corporate partners.

Sponsorship:

  • $5,000+ to be a matching donor with a week-long spotlight across social media, newsletters, and our website.
  • $1,000 to provide a warm holiday meal directly to tenants

Pack-a-Thon

Join our 24-hour packing event in August to prepare 2,000+ backpacks for children and youth (K–12). Help ensure every student starts school ready to learn with the tools they need to succeed.

Sponsorship: $5,000+ to reserve your team’s timeslot, with varying levels of recognition available

Hop on Bikes Events

Bring your team and help give the gift of mobility to tenants living in OCH communities. Sponsor one of our Hop on Bikes events, where bikes, helmets, lights and locks are distributed directly to children, youth, and adults. Hop on Bikes events are held between April-August every year.

Donation:

  • $1,000 minimum for 10–15 employees
  • Eligible for a charitable tax receipt
